Pastor Ude and Parents, John and Debi Ude

Pastor Matthew Ude grew up in a Christian home with eight other siblings. His father also was a pastor and served congregations in Wisconsin and Minnesota: Cambridge, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis. When he was 15, Matthew parents, concerned that he recieved a christian education, sent Matthew to a Immanuel Lutheran High School in Eau Claire, WI.

Matthew continued his education at Immanuel Lutheran College from the fall of 1999 through the spring of 2003. There he recieved his BA in Pre-Theological studies. Among other things Matthew studied the biblical languages, Hebrew and Greek. After college, Matthew continued as a student in Immanuel Lutheran Seminary. There he studied Church History, Theology, Homiletics, Pastoral Theology, Hermenuetics, Liturgics, as well as Old and New Testament Exegesis. In May of 2006 he recieved his diploma from ILS and in June was ordained at Trinity Lutheran Church as a servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.
